We'd rather you (and everyone following along) always know which posts are paid and which ones we chose for free, because that's the only way either one stays trustworthy.
Paying for a Spotlight buys a guaranteed date and a bigger, done-for-you format — the interview, the photo ask, the Story takeover. It never buys a better opinion, a nicer write-up, or any say over what we choose to cover for free.
