What paying for this actually gets you
Every Spotlight Collaboration is clearly labeled as a paid partnership, right in the Instagram caption — "PAID SPOTLIGHT — In Partnership With" — every time, no exceptions. We'd rather you (and everyone following along) always know which posts are paid and which ones we chose for free, because that's the only way either one stays trustworthy.
Paying for a Spotlight buys a guaranteed date and a bigger, done-for-you format — the interview, the photo ask, the Story takeover. It never buys a better opinion, a nicer write-up, or any say over what we choose to cover for free. Most of what you see from iHeart7Mile is still free, chosen because we think islanders will want to know about it.
You'll see the interview write-up, the post, and the Story frames before any of it goes live, and you can ask for edits. What we can't promise is a number — no specific reach, engagement, website traffic, or sales comes with the price. You're buying the feature and the date, not an outcome.
