Meet the Bros delivering your favorite breakfast sandwiches, crumb buns, and bagels—one bike ride at a time.
If you’re sitting on the beach craving a breakfast sandwich or sipping coffee on your front porch thinking a crumb bun would really hit the spot—don’t get up. Just text The Breakfast Bros.
The idea came to life thanks to Avalon 8th grader Joey Butler, who was watching a story about Uber Eats when he realized that food delivery on the island was slow, expensive, and not all that accessible. “Why not use local kids on bikes to get it done?” he thought—and just like that, the Breakfast Bros was born.
Now, this crew of 12- and 13-year-olds is zipping around Avalon each morning from 8am to 11am (and sometimes later, depending on availability), delivering breakfast from local favorites like Isabel’s Bakery & Cafe straight to your door, your office, or even your beach chair! .
So who are the Bros?

Each Bro comes equipped with a bike basket for larger orders, and they’ll tag team for bigger hauls. Customers just text in to check availability, place their order, and one of the Bros will head to the restaurant, pick it up, and deliver it to your location, so long as it is anywhere between 6th and 42nd Street.
Pricing:
- $5 delivery fee (cash only for now)
- Tips appreciated!
- Venmo coming soon
Business is building as word spreads, and Isabel’s crumb buns and bagel sandwiches have been the most in-demand orders so far. But don’t worry, the Bros are open to wherever your breakfast cravings lead.
In between runs, you’ll find this crew hanging at the beach, playing in the Stone Harbor Basketball League, hitting lacrosse or sailing camps, and enjoying a full summer lineup of friends, fishing, and fun.
