The New Jersey craft beer landscape is buzzing with excitement, and the reason is crystal clear: Slack Tide Brewing Co. officially opened the doors to its new location this summer, located at 1879 Route 9.

Slack Tide Brewing Co.: A History

Founded by brothers Jason and Tadhg Campbell, Slack Tide Brewing Company has been renowned for quality, innovation, and community spirit since its inception in December 2016. Named after the momentary calm experienced during a tidal change, Slack Tide Brewing Co. represents that perfect instance when one should relax with a chilled beer in hand. This philosophy rings even truer with their location. The establishment is not just a testament to their growth but also their commitment to providing a space where locals feel comfortable, and first-time visitors look forward to returning. Slack Tide has a simple philosophy: create diverse and high-quality beer made with all-natural ingredients sourced locally whenever possible.

A Grand Expansion

Originally located on Rt. 83, Slack Tide's new spot in Ocean View boasts an impressive 8,000 sq. ft. of space, a reflection of their growing popularity and the desire to accommodate their expanding visitor base. The establishment, which officially opened its doors on June 30 includes:

6,000 sq. ft. dedicated to beer production.

A 2,000 sq. ft. tasting room featuring flagship and seasonal brews (and snacks!)

And 4,500 sq. ft. of outdoor seating, which will be open year-round and feature firepits during the chilly months.

PLUS - An exclusive private event space that can comfortably host up to 50 guests.

Cheers to New Brews & Philanthropic Ventures

With the new space comes an array of exciting beer releases including its award-winning Knockdown Black IPA, which debuted just this week. A collaboration with local breweries and Habitat for Humanity for their upcoming beer release. Notably, a segment of the proceeds from this will go toward constructing a new house in Cape May County. November will feature a new release of its Smash IPA Single Malt, Single Hop brew. And the holiday season will see the release of crowd favorites Manatee Milk and Haywire Twist.

Not to mention a full tasting menu of their most popular beers including Schoolie Pale Ale, Angry Osprey IPA, Intracoastal IPA, Head Boat Lager, and while supplies last, their Slacktoberfest (just to name a few).
